Produce Highlight Time: Drum Roll Please... No More Empty Pots!!

No More Empty Pots operates an urban farm at our greenhouse facility located at the highlander Accelerator at 2120 N. 30th st in North Omaha. Among a variety of other produce and greens, our team grows the Harvest of the Month, tomatoes, in abundance. "A jungle of tomatoes!" said Curtis Yabut our Horticulture Lead, "Each plant was seeded by a students at North High School in April."

Using the Kratky method, which is an easy, low maintenance way to grow tomatoes, the tomato jungle is thriving. Using self-watering containers that require no pumps or electricity, this makes this methos an ideal option for anyone who want to grow with limited resources or space. Unlike traditional hydroponic systems, the Kratky method doesn't require regular maintenance since the water lever remains constant.

For an incredible view and even more incredible produce, schedule a tour with us to check out the Greenhouse in all it's glory. In the meantime, check out the video below tour of the delicious tomatoes and other surprises thriving in the No More Empty Pots Greenhouse!
