Producer Highlight: Grandview Farms

The work we do at No More Empty Pots wouldn’t be possible without our incredible local producers. This month, we’re shining a spotlight on the farms behind our CSA sweet potatoes: Grandview Farm and Bridgewater Farms!

Gordon & Susan Miller, owners of Grandview Farms, have been growing produce for 40 years. They specialize in sweet potatoes, asparagus, and cole crops. Their family-owned farm is dedicated to sustainable practices and building a better food system. Not only is their produce delicious, but their kindness and care make the world a better place.

Since 1978, Bridgewater Farms has been dedicated to providing fresh, high-quality produce to their community. Located in Bridgewater, Iowa, the Raasch family has built their farm on sustainable practices, growing local produce while protecting the planet. Passionate about environmental stewardship, they advocate for supporting small, local farms over corporate businesses. They believe every customer’s choice makes a difference—because where you shop is a vote for the food system you want to see!

“We have been certified organic for over a decade. It is our mission to grow the highest quality produce so that we can be sure our foods are not only beautiful and delicious but also nutritious, healing and 100% chemical free.”
