Funding Opportunities For Producers

Calling all producers! The Local Agriculture Marketing Program (LAMP) will receive a total of $130 million in competitive grant funding via supplemental American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act funding. The following are open funding opportunities in 2022:

Value-Added Producer Grant Program

Create or expand value-added producer-owned businesses
Priority given to small and mid-sized family farms, beginning, veteran, and socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers
Deadline: April 25, 2022

Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program

Develop and strengthen direct-to-consumer marketing strategies

Local Food Promotion Program
Deadline: May 16, 2022

Regional Food System Partnerships Program

Supports public-private partnerships focusing on increasing the availability of locally and regionally produced agricultural products
Deadline: May 16, 2022

Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative

Enhance the ability of producers and processors who have already adopted organic standards to grow and market high quality organic products and to help mitigate the impacts of climate change
Deadline: March 31, 2022

Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program

Expand capacity, encourage competition and sustainable growth in the meat processing sector, and to help improve supply chain resiliency
Deadline: April 11, 2022

USDA Partnership for Climate-Smart Commodities

Support production and marketing of climate-smart commodities
Deadline: April 8, 2022

Regional Conservation Partnership Program

State and local agencies, non-profits, and other organizations to partner with the Natural Resources Conservation Service
Deadline: April 13, 2022
