Culinary Certificate Program

CULINARY CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

No More Empty Pots 8-week Culinary Certificate Program provides hands-on skills based on-the-job culinary training for individuals currently working in the industry that want to sharpen and grow skills.

Take advantage of blended online and face-to-face instruction designed to be adaptable for working students. Class work is designed to be completed within 15 to 20 hours a week.

Students will work in commercial kitchens with the NMEP culinary staff to practice hands-on scratch cooking for individual and group client projects, events and progams. Programs address food security, volume production, and catering.

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Must be 19 years of age or older at the time of application; legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Willing to commit to all program components.

Have a strong interest in a culinary career able to commit to 8 weeks of programming including work experience hours, face-to-face instruction, and online instruction.

ORGANIZATIONS & BUSINESSES

Employers, unemployment agencies, and other employment services organizations are encouraged to refer to the program employees or participants interested in receiving culinary training and certification.
