Communications Strategy Coordinator
Amy Zeller describes herself as a lifelong learner. She is from Elk Point, SD, and moved to Omaha in 2018 to pursue a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha. No More Empty Pots shares her passion for education and food security, which stems from her volunteer work with grassroots organizations and being involved in the George McGovern Center and Universities Fighting World Hunger club while studying nonprofit administration at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD. In Omaha, she studied the correlation between academic performance and food insecurity and conducted strategic planning for the Coalition of Omaha Area University Food Pantries. Amy has a flare for creativity and while always has loved creating art, she honed her skills for storytelling from her large extended family. At home, Amy stays busy dreaming of her next DIY project to pursue and traveling when possible to visit her sister.
