Rhea's Journey of Becoming
From Home Baker to Business Owner
For Rhea Vinson, her journey with No More Empty Pots has been one of transformation, fueled by love and resilience. What began as a simple home bakery has blossomed into a thriving business called Sweet Meatz Desserts. Before joining the Culinary Certificate Program, Rhea had no formal culinary training. But through the program, she gained mentors, skills, and access to a commercial kitchen—giving her the confidence to take her baking business to new heights.
With every step, Rhea’s journey reflects determination and growth. Following graduation from the Culinary Certificate Program, Rhea became a kitchen renter at No More Empty Pots and joined The Entrepreneur Journey program which sponsored some of her start-up costs as a business. She obtained the permits and resources she needed to expand her business and connect with her community in deeper ways.
