Welcome Summer. Virtual Programming Coming Your Way!

Prepared Meals and fresh produce to keep you happy and healthy!

Barley Risotto with Slow Cooked Greens and Lemon Tahini Sauce…how does that sound? Sounds delicious and nutritious right? This is just one example of many plant-based convenience meals you can receive weekly through Community Harvest, a prepared meals program. Prefer to make meals yourself? Sign-up for the Community Harvest CSA program where you receive a weekly share of locally sourced produce to create your very own recipes.

We believe eating healthy, local and fresh should be easily accessible for all. Market price for meals is $5 and CSA’s are $20 or you can participate through our Pay What You Can Model. Learn more and register for the next 6-week session. Registration deadline is July 6th!

Emergency Food Relief Still Available

If you or someone you know is in need of immediate food support, click the button below to complete the Feeding Our Neighbors registration form or email communityharvest@nmepomaha.org.

Thank you for your support. You ROCK!

Through Omaha Gives 2020, you raised a total of $30,410 to be put towards Feeding Our Neighbors. Your gifts help individuals and family eat nourishing meals every week. Together, we’re making great strides in strengthening food security in our community.
On Tuesdays this summer, the NMEP Community Education team will be bringing you new ways to engage with culinary, agriculture, STEAM and literacy! Join us online through a variety of media for live streams, recordings, and downloadable activities. You will experience storytelling, new recipes, science experiments, garden growing tips and more. Get started by visiting our event pages on Facebook and Eventbrite for live classes and workshops!
