Executive Chef

Chef Perthedia Berry is a classically trained Chef from Metropolitan Community College, Institute of Culinary Arts. Following the footsteps of her mother, an Executive Chef, she has enjoyed cooking for crowds big and small. Upon completing culinary school Chef Berry opened a small deli specializing in a French style breakfast with a gourmet soup, salad and sandwich Lunch. Chef Berry continues to offer culinary cuisines to private groups for special events as well as private gourmet cooking classes emphasizing the fine art of Bistro style cooking. Chef Berry has not been limited to the art of culinary, she is a 24-year retired Army Veteran that began her career as a Surgical Technician and retired from the Recruiting Command. In addition to obtaining a culinarian degree she also completed a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies/ General Business from University of Nebraska, a Graduate’s Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Nebraska and currently in pursuit of completing her master’s degree in Public Administration. Chef Perthedia Berry has taught Culinary for over 6 years with Omaha Public Schools and as an Adjunct Instructor at Metropolitan Community College. Chef Berry’s favorite pastime is doing something with her hands and cooking for family and friends.
