Managing Organics: Food waste workshop notes

With UNO College of Business Administration and the US Composting Council, No More Empty Pots hosted a workshop on “Managing Organics: From Food Waste to Opportunity” on Thursday, July 31st, 2014 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Mammel Hall.

The workshop goal was  to inform the audience of the diverse network of businesses, institutions and public decision-makers that can implement an Organics Management System that is efficient, cooperative and mutually beneficial. There were over 30 participants and overwhelmingly positive feedback from the event.
