Christapher, Parris and Ray  Adventure Outside the Classroom

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]For the past ten weeks Culinary Workforce Training Participants have built up their culinary skills in the Production and Training Kitchen at the NMEP Food Hub. From simple soups and salads to intricate meat fabrication and baking techniques, the participants increased their knowledge base and will be using it as they venture into the internship phase of the program. This cohort, each participant is going to a very different location offering unique perspectives on menu, preparation, culture and service. CWTP Participant Applications Are Open

As an approved Workforce Investment Opportunity Act training program by the Nebraska Department of Labor, participants can use workforce investment funding to cover the cost of enrollment and retain any benefits they are currently receiving while in paid internships. The Culinary Workforce Training Program is now taking agency referrals for participant placement in the next cohort.
