Community Education Manager
Leslie Schmeling is from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and moved to Omaha in 2018 to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA. She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science from Northern Michigan University. Since then, she has pursued the nonprofit sector to contribute to nutrition and wellness of under-served communities. In her spare time she coaches 8th grade girls basketball at St. Cecilia and enjoys traveling, hiking, working out and reading.
