Julia Gollobit

Community Harvest Coordinator

Julia started at No More Empty Pots as a volunteer in high school. She then studied food policy and commerce as well as sociology at Loyola University New Orleans. While there, she founded a chapter of Food Recovery Network – a club that recovers excess dining hall food for the homeless. She interned at NMEP the summer of 2019 helping with kids’ kitchen classes. She is thrilled to be back because of NMEP’s focus on sustainability, food security, and skill building. In her free time, she enjoys biking, reading, and exploring new places.
