FOOD ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM
Local food entrepreneurs looking to start or grow a business can take advantage of the NMEP Food Entrepreneur Program. NMEP food entrepreneurs are provided access to rent commercial kitchens at an affordable cost, market opportunities, resources and technical assistance for continuous improvement from our team of culinary experts and entrepreneurship management.
Incubator members will have access to workshops covering topics relevant to early-stage food businesses, networking events and special opportunities like NMEP Food Hub pop-ups, Downtown Omaha Farmers Market and Cups Cafe Florence and NMEP promotion and love.
Commercial Kitchen Rental
Shared-Use and Production & Training Kitchens are available to rent by the hour for prep, production and storage and purchasing of wholesale ingredients.

Food-focused entrepreneurs are provided access to tools and mentorship by NMEP and the Wells Fargo Green Team to develop business plans in preparation for a pitch competition with successive rounds to compete to earn seed money for their business.
