Food Justice & Access Manager
Emily Barber is from Spokane, WA and moved to Omaha in 2017 to serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Her passion for all things food-related resulted in degrees in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University and Organic Agriculture Systems from Washington State University. Since then, she has pursued the nonprofit sector to work toward improving food security in local communities. Emily enjoys cooking and baking, going to concerts, and taking her dog Lenny on hikes.
