Communications and Engagement Manager

Amy Zeller is from Elk Point, SD, and moved to Omaha in 2018. She holds a Master of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from the University of Nebraska Omaha. No More Empty Pots shares her passion for education and food security, which stems from her involvement as a student at the George McGovern Center at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, SD. While pursuing her Masters, she analyzed the correlation between college student academic performance and food insecurity, studied the nonprofit pay gap, conducted strategic planning for the Coalition of Omaha Area University Food Pantries, and served as a Graduate Assistant for UNO’s Service Learning Academy connecting college courses with nonprofit missions in Omaha for 2 years. Amy continues to be passionate about developing strength-based opportunities for young people that build their capacity while enhancing their knowledge of community issues and discovering how they can make a greater impact.
